This project aims to inspire children aged 11-13 to learn coding through the exciting technology of Virtual Reality. Using an Oculus Rift, children can experience virtual reality and interact within an environment. They will learn basic programming constructs by modifying the environment and game behaviours. Treasure Island is the first game theme to showcase this project.

The Virtual Reality for Education project will schedule workshops with participating schools, bringing an Oculus Rift set directly to the classroom for students to experience.

Workshops are built around the use of Unity3D in Schools where students will be trained on how to modify the environment and behaviours within the game.
