SCIPS is a rule-based, role playing game designed to show the impact of cyber security investments in a company that is under threat from organised cyber attacks. In this game, players learn the impact of timely investment, or lack of investment, in cyber security infrastructure, and compete for the highest score by the end of the round.

This will be used by De Montfort University’s Cyber Security Centre (CSC) in training Executives from different industries and raise awareness of cyber threats to private and public businesses.

SCIPs is played through multiple Nexus 10 devices and also includes synced video footage to simulate real situations where players must base their decisions on contextual information and key events.
